These archives contain lecture notes for various courses taught by
Robert G. Petry and others at the Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Science
and Technology (SIAST).

The main pdf's in each directory are the lecture notes.  Since all the
material is under the GNU Free Documentation License version 1.3 (or later),
these archives also contain all the source files required to produce the
final output copies.  These source files are called the "transparent copies"
according to the license.  Copies of the license are embedded in each
document or consult the fdl.pdf file within any of the archives.

The archives are provided in both a .zip and a .tar.gz format.  On a Linux
system they can be uncompressed via
unzip <archive>.zip
or
tar xzvf <archive>.tar.gz

For the statistics lecture notes it is likely worth consulting the newer
material found in Robert Petry's University of Regina material.
