These archives contain lecture notes for various courses taught by Robert G. Petry at the University of Regina (Campion College). The main pdf's in each directory are the lecture notes. Since all the material is under the GNU Free Documentation License version 1.3 (or later), these archives also contain all the source files required to produce the final output copies. These source files are called the "transparent copies" according to the license. Copies of the license are embedded in each document or consult the fdl.pdf file within any of the archives. The archives are provided in both a .zip and a .tar.gz format. On a Linux system they can be uncompressed via unzip .zip or tar xzvf .tar.gz The archives with the "asy_included" or "graphics_included" are slightly larger and include the precompiled asymptote and xfig graphics. If you don't have these installed on your system you can compile the document with these versions. Otherwise the regular archives generate these images from the included graphics code as part of the compile process.
